Together with the other legal counsels in the Group Legal team, you will be providing legal advice on all aspects of the Intrum Group’s legal matters. Intrum regularly acquires companies across Europe and makes significant investments in debt portfolios from financial institutions and large companies. Much of your working time will be dedicated to such transactions where you will be working closely with the commercial teams. In addition, we want you to be able to support the organisation on its digitisation change journey and in other matters that typically occur in an organisation like Intrum. You will be part of Group Legal team, which consists of seven experienced legal counsels located across Europe, and will report to the Chief Legal Officer of the Intrum Group.
The person we are looking for will be working within a wide range of business law matters with some focus on M&A and IT. The head office is located in Stockholm but the work is spread geographically and is very international. The position will involve some travelling internationally.
You have a Swedish or foreign LL.M. degree followed by 4-6 years of experience of international business law, preferably with focus on M&A and IT from a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel. A requirement for succeeding in this job is experience from working in an international environment and being fluent in English. We expect you to be driven, independent and a person able to take initiatives. You are genuinely interested in exploring the business activities and you have a solution-focused mind set. Important qualifications are abilities to cooperate and communicate. We want you to be a person with integrity but also easy to work with. You are positive and committed, enjoy providing good customer service and working in an international and eventful environment.
